The Paignton Championship Dog Show at Westpoint

The Paignton Championship Dog Show at Westpoint Held at Exeter’s Westpoint Arena, The Paignton Championship Dog Show was one of the busiest events Oakwood Gundogs have visited so far this year. Held over 4 days, over 4000 dogs attended. Our stand, next to the agility stand, saw over 100 dogs on the first day alone. Interestingly, in the fun scurries held at the stand, it was the agility dogs, who just grabbed the dummies and ran, who did better than the gundogs who had been trained to be careful with the retrieve.  Dave, who also entered, was enthusiastic but lacked the necessary speed. We’d also like to thank the organisers for the free breakfast, lunch and cream teas. Very tasty and very...
